Survey Fees

SURVEY FEES AS PER SECOND SCHEDULE TO REGULATION 7(2)
OF THE SURVEYORS (REGISTRATION AND ADMINISTRATION) REGULATIONS 1989
AS AMENDED BY G.N. NO.S14 OF 1996

Survey fees for title surveys are classified in accordance with the Categories of land use such as agriculture, residential, commercial, industrial and other purposes. Licensed Surveyors shall carry out the survey as per the instructions issued by the District Surveyor under the Registered Survey Paper (R.S.P) and submit the R.S.P. with certified plan/s and relevant documents to the District Surveyors.

The fees listed in the following Tables are applicable to surveys for new alienation, subdivision and resurveys.

TIME RATES

Fees may be charged by time rates. In this Schedule, “field work” means the survey work in the field done by a survey field party headed by a survey technician who is assisted by a party of labourers and equipped with the normal survey equipment (e.g. theodolite, level, chain, etc) suitable for the survey in hand. The rates for the normal categories are as follows:-

	A) Charges for mobilization cost:-
	Minimum one party day at RM 750.00 per party day. Maximum four party days at RM 750.00 per party day.
	b) Charges for computations and/or preparation of plans (no field work involved) is based on the time spent by the computers and draftsmen in the office at the rate of RM 25.00 per hour per draftsman or per computer. This rate includes the cost of supervision, supply of drafting or computing materials and administration.
