Survey Fees

SURVEY FEES AS PER SECOND SCHEDULE TO REGULATION 7(2)
OF THE SURVEYORS (REGISTRATION AND ADMINISTRATION) REGULATIONS 1989
AS AMENDED BY G.N. NO.S14 OF 1996

Survey fees for title surveys are classified in accordance with the Categories of land use such as agriculture, residential, commercial, industrial and other purposes. Licensed Surveyors shall carry out the survey as per the instructions issued by the District Surveyor under the Registered Survey Paper (R.S.P) and submit the R.S.P. with certified plan/s and relevant documents to the District Surveyors.

The fees listed in the following Tables are applicable to surveys for new alienation, subdivision and resurveys.

FOR SURVEY FOR SUBDIVISION OF BUILDINGS FOR ISSUANCE OF
SUBSIDIARY TITLES

The survey fees for subdivision of building for issuance of Subsidiary Titles shall consist of the following charges:-

Survey of land and preparation of index and storey plans as required under Section 6 of Land (Subsidiary Titles) Enactment No. 9 of 1972:-

a)

For land upto 200 square metres

3,000.00

b)

Upto 300 square metres

3,750.00

c)

Upto 400 square metres

4,250.00

d)

Upto 500 square metres

4,500.00

e)

For the next 500 – 1,000 square metres add

7.00 per sq. metre

f)

For the next 1,000 – 1,500 square metres add

5.00 per sq. metre

g)

For the next 1,500 – 3,000 square metres add

2.00 per sq. metre

h)

Above 3,000 square metres add

1.00 per sq. metre

The above rates include the cost of connections, controls and refixation or reestablishment of
missing marks and preparation of the plan.

3)

Subdivision of the building into units and preparation of index and storey plans:-
