Survey Fees

SURVEY FEES AS PER SECOND SCHEDULE TO REGULATION 7(2)
OF THE SURVEYORS (REGISTRATION AND ADMINISTRATION) REGULATIONS 1989
AS AMENDED BY G.N. NO.S14 OF 1996

Survey fees for title surveys are classified in accordance with the Categories of land use such as agriculture, residential, commercial, industrial and other purposes. Licensed Surveyors shall carry out the survey as per the instructions issued by the District Surveyor under the Registered Survey Paper (R.S.P) and submit the R.S.P. with certified plan/s and relevant documents to the District Surveyors.

The fees listed in the following Tables are applicable to surveys for new alienation, subdivision and resurveys.

TABLE 6

FOR SURVEY OF LAND FOR RESERVES

This Table covers the survey of land that are not covered by Table 1 to 4 i.e. Forest , Game, Wild Life, National Park, Catchment areas, Grazing, Native, Government or other similar reserves. Each reserve may cover different types of terrain, such as flat, undulating, hilly, fresh water swamp, tidal swamp etc. Different rates have to be charged based on different conditions of each item and the total of the separate items becomes the survey fees for the job.

The survey fees shall consist of the following charges:-

1)	Basic charge per job	950.00
2)	Charge for surveyed boundary or traverse • Flat to undulating below 15 degree of slope • Hilly above 15 degree of slope • Fresh water swamp • Tidal swamp	3.00 per metre 3.50 per metre 6.00 per metre 8.00 per metre
3)	Work site to public road Upto 2 Km 2 Km to 10 Km 10 Km to 20 Km 20 Km to 30 Km	No additional charge add 10% of 2 above add 20% of 2 above add 30% of 2 above
4)	Disbursements, where applicable, as provided in Table 11.
